Hinoki wood, or Japanese cypress, is a highly valued type of wood in Japan for its lovely aroma and it is one of my absolute favourite scents. These incense sticks are made using established incense making traditions and techniques that have developed over 400 years. Scent can affect your mood, helping reduce inner anxiety or tension and creating a sense of calm, like after meditation. You can pair it with our cube-shaped brass holders or the round aluminium one.

How to use: after lighting the tip of the incense, blow on the flame and let the smoke linger. Then set the incense in an incense holder made of non-flammable material. It is recommended to use a tray/plate to catch the ashes under the incense holder. Keep on a stable surface away from flammable materials or in windy places. Even if the smoke disappears, sparks may remain, so please handle with care. Keep out of reach of children.
